Bill (William) Achtymichuk

I am the leader of a team dedicated to providing the support which leads to what we truly believe, "a client's success is our success". They are a vital part of our client relationship. I am the fifth of six children born into a farming family. Growing up meant hard work, timelines and getting the job done. I obtained a degree in agricultural economics from the University of Alberta with a concentration on macroeconomics.

Macroeconomics examines economy-wide trends such as changes in employment rates, national income, rate of growth, gross domestic product, inflation and price levels. Upon completing University in 1980 I worked for a lending institution for fourteen years as a credit advisor. A passion for investing and a desire to help people reach their financial goals led to a career as an investment advisor in 1994. My farming background instilled the work ethic that I bring, along with my team, to my business today.

I have completed numerous investment courses which have accredited me with the designations of FCSI (Fellowship of Canadian Securities Institute), CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®), CIM® (Chartered Investment Manager) all of which led me to becoming a Portfolio Manager.

*In addition to my registration as an investment advisor, I also hold a life insurance license and an accident and sickness license that assists in client needs-based planning.
